On Friday, Governor Kalraj Mishra addressed the fifth convocation ceremony of Govind Guru Tribal University. During this occasion, he said that everyone should play their role to give a concrete shape to the vision of a developed India and that the National Education Policy will be instrumental in shaping the future of the youth. He said, “It is a pleasant opportunity for students to progress in the field of education. Many initiatives are being taken for the empowerment of women in our country. If a woman is educated in the family, all the results there are positive.”
He paid tribute to the sacrifices of the tribal society’s stalwart Shri Govind Guru and said that he worked on the spiritual traditions, unique culture, and best life values of the tribal society. Therefore, his contribution should be taken forward through research and research in the tribal area. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has envisioned the development of India-2047, the essence of which is in the hands of today’s youth.
During this, 30 students from various classes in the academic session 22-23 were awarded gold medals and merit certificates. At the same time, 11 research scholars were also awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree. The convocation ceremony was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Keshav Singh Thakur. Prof. Kailash Sodhani, the Vice-Chancellor of Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, who is currently the first nominated Vice-Chancellor of the University, gave the convocation address. The faces of the students lit up with medals and degrees.
