The National Investigation Agency (NIA) presented seven accused involved in the murder case of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the president of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, in court. The NIA court remanded all the accused to jail until January 2.
On Monday, the NIA team presented Nitin Fauji, Rohit Rathore, Ramvir Jat, Sumit, Rahul, Bhavani alias Roni, and Udham Singh in the NIA court. Along with the shooters Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji, who committed the murder, the police have also arrested individuals who assisted them in their escape.
For the investigation of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi’s murder case, ADG Crime Dinesh MN formed an SIT under the leadership of Additional Commissioner Kailash Bishnoi. The SIT has arrested Pooja Saini, who was assisting the shooters Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji and was also involved in providing shelter to Nitin. Additionally, Bhavani Singh alias Roni, Rahul, and Sumit, who were involved in helping with the incident, were arrested from prison in Haryana based on a production warrant.
Mahendra, also known as Samir, a resident of Gumanpura, Kota, who supplied weapons to the shooters in this murder case, is still on the run. The police are conducting raids at his likely locations to apprehend him. The police suspect that Mahendra may possess an AK-47, as a photo obtained from his wife Pooja Saini shows an AK-47 kept in their flat. This AK-47 was procured for the Raju Theth gang’s murder case. Mahendra had arranged for weapons and money for the murder. Mahendra had arranged for 6 lakh rupees from someone in Chandigarh to be deposited into the bank account of a known woman.
