In the case of the murder of Shri National Rajput Karni Sena’s President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the SIT has now focused its attention on the National Capital Region (NCR) around Delhi. The shooters involved in the Gogamedi case, Nitin Fauji and Rohit Rathore, have provided strong evidence of their journey from Gurgaon to Hisar. There are indications that both shooters are heading from Gurgaon towards Hisar. Meanwhile, on Friday, ADG Crime and Chief of SIT Dinesh M.N. held a meeting at the police headquarters and discussed the progress report so far and issued directions to the police teams for further action.
ADG Dinesh M.N. explained that the shooters in the Gogamedi case, Nitin Fauji and Rohit Rathore, were seen travelling from Sujangarh to Delhi in a bus and then reaching Gurgaon. Based on this, the SIT has targeted the NCR region. In this case, the SIT is also in contact with police officers from relevant states. The SIT is also identifying hideouts and locations where the gang and killers are taking refuge through its informant network.
Came prepared for the shooting:
In the SIT’s ongoing investigation, it has also come to light that professional shooter Nitin Jat, alias Fauji, came prepared with complete readiness to locate Gogamedi. Taking Rohit with him, he first trapped Navin Singh Shekhawat in a net and, using his ID, rented a Scorpio. He then reached Gogamedi’s house in Shyam Nagar. After the incident, to mark the escape route where there were no CCTV cameras, Fauji identified it. After the reconnaissance, while executing the crime, Fauji also shot Navin to ensure that there was no evidence against them after the murder. To escape the police’s scrutiny, Fauji brought a significant amount of cash with him instead of online transactions. They both reached Gurgaon from Jaipur. There are also indications that both killers sought refuge in Hisar. To puzzle the police, Fauji caught a bus from Sujangarh to Delhi, while he could have directly reached his original residence in Mahendragarh with Rohit. Mahendragarh is located near Kotputli in the Rajasthan district. The SIT claims to have spread its network throughout the NCR region.
