According to Sacnilk, The Pawan Kalyan starrer opened to an opening day box office collection of ₹83.70 crore (approx.) at the domestic box office. As per reports published online the movie totalled to an international box office collection north of ₹150 crore on its opening day.
₹75 crore of the movie’s worldwide opening number was reported to have come from the movie’s bookings. In terms of language split, ₹63 crores worth of its domestic ticket sales on its opening day came from the movie’s Telugu version.’

They Call Him OG showed impressive booking numbers in the lead up to its release, surpassing the likes of the Rajinikanth starrer Coolie in the process. Upon release, the movie not only did big numbers at the global box office, but it also became one of Kalyan’s highest grossing release in North America. According to a post shared by the movie’s production house, the Pawan Kalyan starrer has grossed $3.1 million in North America.

Following its day 1 release, They Call Him OG has continued to pull big numbers at the box office. According to early reports, the Pawan Kalyan movie has minted ₹4.74 crore, taking the movie’s total domestic collection to ₹94.4 crore.
According to reports published online, the movie is made on an estimated ₹220 crore budget and needs at least ₹230 crore to become a box office sucess.
