A day after the trailer release date for the highly anticipated Kantara: Chapter 1 was announced, Rishab Shetty, the film’s director and lead actor, has dropped another news. The writer, director, actor, and extraordinaire shared the news of the film’s Hindi trailer release on his social media platform. Sharing a poster of the film’s Hindi trailer release, Shetty announced that the honours will be done by none other than Hrithik Roshan.

The Hindi Trailer of #KantaraChapter1 will be unveiled by the phenomenal @iHrithik Sir.” The same was shared by the film’s production house, Hombale Films.
The post dubbed this as “More legends. More languages.” Continuing in the caption, Shetty and Hombale Films wrote, “The roar of #Kantara will now echo across the world. Stay tuned!”
In another post, Hombale Films shared that the Tamil trailer of the movie will be unveiled by Sivakarthikeyan.

When is the Antara Chapter 1 Hindi Trailer releasing?
The Hindi trailer for the highly anticipated movie is scheduled to release on 22nd September at 12:45 PM. Kantara: Chapter 1 is slated to release in theatres on 2nd October 2025.

Kantara: Chapter 1 is the prequel to the 2022 blockbuster movie Kantara. The movie serves as a prequel to the movie and explores the mythological practices and rivalries introduced in Kantara. The movie is written and directed by Rishab Shetty, with him also playing the lead role. Additional cast members of the movie include Jayaram, Rakesh Poojari, Rukmini Vasanth and Gulshan Devaiah. Shooting for the film began in November 2023 and is now scheduled for release on 2nd October.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, the streaming rights of the Rishab Shetty movie have been sold to Amazon Prime Video for Rs. 125 crore. This makes this movie a historic Kannada movie, topped only by the blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2, whose rights were purchased by the same platform for a reported sum of Rs. 320 crore.
