Teja Sajja’s Mirai Locks OTT Release Ahead of Trailer Launch

Teja Sajja's upcoming action drama Mirai has reportedly locked its OTT release ahead of its trailer launch. The movie starring Sajja in the lead role is slated for release on 12th September.

The upcoming action drama Mirai is all set for a theatrical release on 12th September 2025. The film was initially slated for a Teacher’s Day release until the makers decided to push it to the next Friday. And now, as per reports from 123Telugu, the Teja Sajja starrer has already finalised its OTT release.

Mirai Locks Its OTT Release

As per reports, the OTT rights for the Telugu action drama have been acquired by Jio Hotstar for a massive amount. Moreover, Star Maa has bagged Mirai’s satellite rights. The number of deals has not been disclosed, but it’s expected to have fetched the makers a good bag weeks before its theatrical release.

Makers Announce Mirai’s Trailer Release Date

The makers had recently announced 28th August as the Trailer release date for the Teja Sajja starrer, and now the lead actor has shared the exact time of the trailer release. Taking to his social media, the Hanu-Man actor announced 28th August, 12:06 PM as the official release time for the trailer release.

“Ganapati Bappa Morya 🙏…TOMORROW 12.06 PM, Witness the EPIC WORLD with the BREATHTAKING #MiraiTrailer…#MIRAI GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON 12th September,” the actor wrote in his caption.

About Mirai Starring Teja Sajja

After the immense success of Hanu-Man, Teja Sajja has picked up another big challenge with Mirai. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni and written by him along with Manibabu Karanam, Mirai revolves around a warrior (Teja Sajja) tasked with protecting nine ancient scriptures that have the power to turn any mortal into a god. 

Playing the opposite lead to Sajja is Manoj Kumar Manchu with Ritika Nayak, Jagapathi Babu, Shriya Saran, and Jayaram in key roles. 
     
It is said to be a modern-day product made to fuse elements of folklore and modern-day movies, similar to the Ayan Mukherjee directorial venture, Brahmastra. Mirai is a pan-India release being released in eight languages, such as Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam, among others. It will be available for viewers to enjoy in both 2D and 3D viewing formats, with the Hindi release being presented by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

With Mirai’s OTT release already locked with Jio Hotstar and fans eager to see Teja Sajja lead another movie, Mirai has all the eyes it needs to be a hit. The trailer is set to release on Thursday (28th August) at 12:06 PM with the movie slated for a worldwide release on 12th September 2025.
