The Global Peace Honours 2025 ceremony, hosted by the Divyaj Foundation and Amruta Fadnavis in Mumbai, was a night dedicated to national heroes and a call for unity. The event drew major figures, including the Ambani family matriarch, Nita Ambani, and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
A Star Tribute to Real Heroes
Shah Rukh Khan used the stage to deliver a powerful and emotional tribute to the security personnel and innocent lives lost in terror attacks, including the tragic 26/11, the Pahalgam incident, and the recent Delhi blasts.
He shared a moving poem for the nation’s soldiers:
“When someone asks you what you do, say with pride that I protect the country… If someone asks you how much you earn, smile slightly and say, I earn the blessings of 1.4 billion people… And if they turn around and ask you again, aren’t you ever afraid? Look them in the eye and say, Those who attack us feel it.”

Following this, Nita Ambani, founder-chairperson of Reliance Foundation, expressed deep gratitude to the martyrs. She spoke of the profound sacrifice made by the soldiers and police, stating, “There can be no greater sacrifice than the sacrifice of those who laid down their lives for their nation, who gave up their today so that India can have a safer tomorrow.”

Ivory Queens: Ambani Women Dazzle
For the special occasion, the three prominent ladies of the Ambani family Nita Ambani, Shloka Mehta, and Radhika Merchant chose coordinated and elegant ivory outfits, making a sophisticated statement.
Nita Ambani Embroidered Saree: Attending with Mukesh Ambani, Mrs. Ambani looked magnificent in an ivory saree. The fabric was richly decorated with fine Chikankari embroidery and delicate applique work, finished with elegant scalloped borders. She accessorized with a striking combination of a pearl necklace, diamond earrings (jhumkis), and traditional bracelets (kadhas).
Shloka Mehta Shimmering Organza: Shloka Mehta, accompanied by Akash Ambani, chose an ivory organza saree. Her drape featured subtle yet sparkling sequin work and detailed thread embroidery. She kept her jewelry modern, focusing on a statement diamond necklace and matching diamond bracelets.
Radhika Merchant Regal Lehenga: Radhika Merchant, who arrived with Anant Ambani, stood out in a beautiful ivory lehenga set. Her outfit comprised a gorgeous flared skirt and an intricately embroidered backless top (choli). Her look was completed with magnificent Polki diamond jewelry, including a forehead ornament (mang tika).
