Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta marked the Prakash Parv of the tenth Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, by seeking blessings at the historic Nada Sahib Gurudwara. On this occasion, he expressed his wishes for the well-being and prosperity of the country, state, and district residents. Congratulating people on Guru Gobind Singh’s Prakash Parv, Gupta emphasized the global celebration of this event.
Gupta highlighted Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s significant role as a warrior who made sacrifices for the nation and religion, emphasizing the importance of remembering his contributions to history, culture, and religion. He urged the public to follow Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s teachings, emphasizing the strength found in unity and mutual brotherhood.
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for cleanliness at religious places from January 14 to January 22, Gupta stressed the importance of adopting cleanliness as a form of service in daily life. He announced a cleanliness campaign at Mata Mansa Devi Temple in Panchkula on January 20.
Speaking about the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Gupta urged political parties to refrain from politicizing the issue and suggested celebrating the consecration of Ram Lalla with pride and honor for the country.
During the event, General Secretary of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Ramnik Singh Mann, presented Siropa and a picture of Guru Gobind Singh Ji to Gian Chand Gupta. Other notable figures present included BJP District Vice President Umesh Sood, Councilor Harendra Malik, Sonia Sood, Rakesh, District SC Morcha President Sardar Amrik Singh, and Nada Sahib Gurdwara Manager Sardar Paramjit Singh.
