The impact of the western disturbance is being seen in many states across the country. Its effect is also visible in the state. Meanwhile, due to fog after clouds and rain in Delhi, flights have been diverted to Jaipur. Flights from several cities and countries, including Sydney, Chennai, and Gorakhpur, have been diverted to Jaipur. Many of these flights departed late into the night, but Air India’s Kolkata-Delhi flight AI-768 and flights to Hyderabad could not take off.
From 6 pm to 7:30 pm yesterday, 8 flights were diverted from Delhi to Jaipur, due to low visibility in Delhi. During this, there was confusion in flight operations. In Jaipur on Monday, Air India’s Sydney-Delhi flight AI-301, IndiGo’s Chennai-Delhi flight 6E-2316, Vistara’s Guwahati-Delhi flight UK-742, IndiGo’s Gorakhpur-Delhi flight 6E-2086, and IndiGo’s Dibrugarh-Delhi flight 6E-6604 were diverted.
Due to the bad weather, many flight passengers were brought to Delhi by bus, while some passengers were sent from Delhi by flight after obtaining clearance. The diversion of these flights to Jaipur caused crowding at Jaipur Airport.
