Fiery crash in Ajmer claims lives of three

A tragic road accident occurred late at night near the Lohagal Road petrol pump in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Following a collision with the divider, a high-speed car burst into flames. In this incident, three individuals lost their lives in the ensuing fire. Bystanders at the scene bravely broke the windows in an attempt to rescue the injured. The car was carrying a total of five people.
Due to the intense fire, two individuals succumbed to their injuries on the spot, while three others with injuries were promptly taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, one person couldn’t survive the journey to the hospital, and the conditions of the remaining two injured individuals are critical.
The high-speed car collided with the divider, leading to the ignition of the vehicle and the subsequent burst of a tire. This caused panic among local residents. Despite the challenging circumstances, locals managed to break the windows of the burning car to rescue the victims.
The accident unfolded near the Lohagal Road petrol pump in Ajmer on Saturday at 11:30 pm.
According to the information received, Krishna, a resident of Pratapnagar, was travelling with his friends Umesh and three others to Pushkar. On their return from Pushkar, their Ritz car collided with the divider on Lohagal Road in Ajmer. The vehicle, travelling at high speed, overturned, resulting in a fire.
Ravindra Singh Khichi, the in-charge of Christian Ganj Thana, identified the three deceased individuals as Sohel Khan from Chaurasiyavas, Jay Sankhla from Vaishali Nagar, and Shakti Singh from Kabir Nagar. Among them, Kabir Singh and Jay Sankhla lost their lives in the car fire, while Sohel Khan passed away on the way to the hospital.
The two injured individuals are Krishna Murari from Lohakhan and Umesh Kumar from Gurjar Dharti, but the cause of the fire, whether a gas kit or a short circuit, is yet to be determined.
