As per a Variety report, the story of ‹Jo Bachaye Hain Sang Samet Lo› is adapted from the Urdu novel of the same name, written by Farhat Ishtiaq. It is the best-selling novel of 2013. Several notable shows like ‹Humsafar› and ‹Mere Humdum Mere Dost› have also been adapted from Ishtiaq›s novels. Momina Duraid, known for shows like ‹Chand Tara› and ‹Fairytale›, will produce the series from her Dubai-based production house. The story of this series will revolve around Sikandar and Lisa, whose destinies are intertwined. Alexander is a law student at Harvard whose life is turned upside down by an incident, and Lisa struggles with her past.
