A father-son duo, both lawyers, were fatally shot on Wednesday morning while on their way to a court in Bihar’s Saran district, according to police reports. Two suspects have been apprehended in connection with the incident, and authorities are conducting raids to apprehend the remaining suspects.
Saran Superintendent of Police Ashish Kumar stated, “Two individuals have been murdered in a land dispute. The police have arrested two suspects, and raids are ongoing to apprehend the others.”
The incident sparked protests from numerous lawyers and court staff. Advocate Krishna Kunwar Singh informed ANI, “This morning, a lawyer and his son, also a lawyer, were attacked and killed by assailants while en route to the court. All court staff are protesting.”
