International comedy sensation Kevin Hart is finally making it to India with his super-hit “Acting My Age” tour. Having postponed his initial visit following a horrific terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, Hart has now booked a September 21 show at NSCI Dome SVP Stadium, Mumbai.
It was announced on Thursday by event organizer District by Zomato, the comedian’s first live performance in India. Kevin Hart’s new show takes fans through comedic observations of personal life, social mores, and the tribulations of aging, all presented in his inimitable comic style.
“India, we are meant to meet this year, and I am so looking forward to seeing your amazing energy in person in Mumbai. We’re going to have an unforgettable night of love and laughter,” Hart said in a statement.
Tickets and Booking Details
Pre-sale tickets for the event will be available from July 29, with general ticket sales opening on July 31. Talking about the importance of bringing Kevin Hart to India, Rahul Ganjoo, District by Zomato CEO, was thrilled.
“Indian comedy is at an all-time high currently. Audiences are wiser, hungrier, and more international in their sensibilities than ever. Taking Kevin Hart to India is a milestone for us, for every Indian who loves comedy and wants to witness the best in the world up close. We’re excited to make it happen, and we can’t wait to laugh on what will be a super entertaining night.”
Earlier Cancellation Due to Security Threat
Kevin Hart was initially set to host a show in Delhi on April 30 as part of his global tour. Nevertheless, the show was canceled after a terrorist attack at Pahalgam killed 26 tourists.
District by Zomato had confirmed the cancellation and informed that they were in talks with Kevin Hart’s team to schedule a new date, resulting in the September announcement.
Hart’s Comedy Legacy
With his observational and self-deprecating wit, Hart has attained international fame via a series of stand-up specials such as his blockbuster show “Laugh At My Pain.” Most recently, he was featured in the Apple TV docu-series “Number One on the Call Sheet.”
Kevin Hart’s India show is likely to be among this year’s largest international comedy shows in India.
