Tamannaah shuts down Abdul Razzaq wedding claim
In a recent interview with The Lallantop, the actress candidly addressed the long-standing and widely circulated rumor that she had married former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq.
She clarified, “According to the internet, I was briefly married to Abdul Razzaq. It was so embarrassing. I met him at a jewelry store. We were doing an opening. I have no memory of the city.”
Photos from the event years ago had sparked unverified claims that the two had tied the knot, something Tamannaah has now firmly denied once again.
“These rumors make it sound like I’m on a husband shopping spree”
This isn’t the first time Tamannaah has had to defend herself. Back in 2020, the actress had issued a public statement slamming the constant speculation about her love life. She wrote, “One day it’s an actor, another day it’s a cricketer, and now it’s a doctor. These rumors make it sound like I’m on a husband shopping spree.”
Tamannaah made it clear that she was “happily single at the moment” and that her parents were not “groom hunting” on her behalf.
“The only thing I’m romancing right now is cinema”
In the same earlier statement, the Babli Bouncer actress also emphasized that she was deeply committed to her work. “The only thing I’m romancing right now is my cinematic endeavors,” she stated. She called the rumors “prejudicial and disrespectful,” and made it known that when the time comes, she will share any such personal news publicly and proudly.
Tamannaah ended her clarification on a firm note: “The day I decide on going down that road, I will announce it to the world myself because the institute is consecrated. It’s not as casual as the numerous speculations being floated.”
