In the latest show, the two were caught sharing a very intimate moment. Nehal was resting and put her head straight onto Baseer’s lap. They were having an intimate conversation in private, which left many fans speculating about their real feelings for one another. The amicable moment soon turned into a huge controversy with the help of a new roommate, Malti Mor. Wild card entrant Malti poured oil on the fire with a huge accusation. She alleged that Baseer and Nehal were already dating before entering the Bigg Boss house!
But the two had no time to keep quiet. When Malti called them out directly, asking if they were “friends or girlfriend-boyfriend,” Baseer and Nehal quickly retorted.

Challenging Malti’s entitlement to query, “Why do you care?” He asserted their relationship, claiming that they had a “real” relationship and not a “phony” survival game move. He further claimed that he was never sincere in the early flirty fun and has always held them up as friends.
Nehal Chudasama was also formidable in her defense. When Malti accused them of keeping their relationship a secret, Nehal wouldn’t back down, firing back, “Why should I tell you what the title is between us?”
Clearly upset, she passionately explained to other housemates, “Don’t call it fake. We are real, and it hurts to hear otherwise.” She maintained that their feelings were real and had merely developed within the house.

Despite Baseer and Nehal denying their relationship is fake and not wanting to be labeled as such by Malti or other contestants, the scandal persists. Other players, such as Abhishek Bajaj, have branded their relationship as a “strategic relationship” or a “fake love angle.”
