While the world sees the chart-topping hits and sold-out tours, Ed’s reality behind closed doors tells a different story. After an attempted break-in at his countryside home often dubbed “Sheeranville” the singer says he was forced to take serious measures to protect himself and his family.
I haven’t been kidnapped or anything,” he admitted in a recent podcast, “but it only takes one crazy person to ruin everything.

What truly weighs on Ed is not just his own safety but that of his wife, Cherry Seaborn, and their two daughters.
I now have 24-hour security at my home. My wife has security. My kids have security,” he said, adding that fame wasn’t a choice they made.
He opened up about the struggle of trying to give his children a normal life, even though paparazzi and fans often make that difficult. I can’t even take my daughter to the park without someone filming us. It’s heartbreaking.”
