On Tuesday Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari addressed a review meeting held at the Rajasthan State Road Development and Construction Corporation (RSRDCC) office.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed that projects under centrally sponsored schemes should be completed on time. Medical colleges, nursing colleges, hospitals, and other construction works being carried out by RSRDCC should be completed with high quality in a timely manner.
She said that all the important tasks, including those related to the general public, should be completed on time to ensure that the public can benefit from the facilities as soon as possible.
She emphasized, “Our department is directly connected to the common people. Therefore, the impact of our work should also be visible.”
She instructed officials to identify and immediately rectify areas in the state’s roads that have become unsafe and could lead to accidents. During this, the Secretary of the Public Works Department Vaibhav Galaria, MD Sudhir Mathur, and Secretary Sanjeev Mathur, along with other officials from the RSRDC office, were present. During this, she inspected the Central Quality Control Laboratory established in the RSRDC office. The information about the equipment used in quality inspection of construction works was provided to the Deputy Chief Minister, and its overview was conducted.
During the inspection, the Deputy Chief Minister said to ensure the full utilization of labs established with this central lab in districts and construction sites. She said that there should be such a system that our labs can also be used for the work of other departments and people, and also perform the task of revenue production.
