In the Peeplwa police station area of Deedwana on Saturday, the mutual disagreement among the supporters of the candidates during the voting turned into a fight on Sunday.
On Sunday, people from one community broke into a shop at the bus stand and beat up two youths. In response to this, people from the other side also came to the bus stand. This created a tense atmosphere. However, the police claimed to have brought the situation under control after explaining both sides. In this case, both sides have filed cases against each other. The police assured that after the investigation, the accused will be arrested.
According to the police, a clash occurred on Saturday among the supporters of two factions during the voting in the Bhakri village of Parbatsar. During that time, the villagers intervened and pacified both sides by understanding the matter. On Sunday, people from the special community once again gathered at the bus stand regarding the Saturday incident and they vandalized Mukesh’s shop and beat him up. The attackers also beat Mukesh’s companion Vikram thoroughly. The attackers alleged that Mukesh and his associates had beaten up their two youths on Saturday.
Upon receiving information about the fight, people from Mukesh’s side also came to the bus stand. Meanwhile, the police also reached the spot. The police, after understanding both sides, resolved the matter. In this case, both sides have filed non-cognizable reports against each other.
