The Cybercrime Investigation Unit of District Police Kishtwar has demonstrated its relentless efforts in combating cybercrime by successfully solving a case and recovering online defrauded funds amounting to Rs. 1,09,000.
Upon receiving complaints from Sangle Sahadeo and Suresh Kumar regarding online fraud related to mobile recharge and installation of third-party mobile apps, the Cybercrime Investigation Unit swiftly initiated an investigation. Both victims reported losses totaling Rs. 1,09,000.
Under the leadership of PSI Moin Khan, the cyber investigation team exhibited advanced technical skills and dedication, leading to the successful recovery of the defrauded amount.
