Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma addressed four election meetings in the state on Thursday. He reached Jhunjhunu as well as Ramgarh, Dausa and Deoli-Uniara seats. Addressing the nomination meetings, he appealed to make the party candidates victorious on all the seats. Sharma fiercely targeted the Congress. Mentioning the schemes of the Central and State Government, he also counted the achievements of the BJP rule.
Addressing the election meeting in Jhunjhunu, the Chief Minister said, “After 50 years, our government has done the work of providing water to the Shekhawati region by initiating the Yamuna Water Agreement with the Haryana Government. This will make the land here yield gold, whereas the Congress leaders deceive the people by lying about producing gold from potatoes. Congress is the enemy of Shekhawati region because its leaders had promised to cancel Yamuna water agreement in the manifesto of Haryana assembly elections. He raised the question whether BJP workers were drinking Yamuna water.”
He said,”Congress has pushed the country into the quagmire of corruption. Their politics of appeasement and casteism has ruined the country the most. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is continuously working for the welfare of 140 crore people. When we give Kisan Samman Nidhi, Vridhajan Samman, housing, food security and electricity connection to farmers, we do not look at caste and religion. We have not done any kind of discrimination in the development of 200 assembly constituencies of the state. Each assembly constituency has been given an adequate budget. During the time of the previous government, only Congress MLAs were given a budget for the development of his area.”
While addressing the election meeting held in Ramgarh, Sharma said, “Congress has no concern with the interests of the common people. Congress had kept the very important ERCP project for eastern Rajasthan hanging by doing politics and did not make any plan for it. Whereas, as soon as we came, understanding the need of the area, we signed an MoU. We will also lay the foundation stone of ERCP soon.”
He said that Ramgarh has also been connected to ERCP, so that the people can get water for drinking and irrigation. Under ERCP, a network is being prepared by connecting various rivers of the state, so that all the districts of eastern Rajasthan, including Alwar will not face shortage of water.
The Chief Minister said that the state government has done historic work in the last 10 months of its tenure.
“We have signed MoUs worth Rs 2 lakh 24 thousand crores to make the state self-reliant in the energy sector. Whereas during the time of the previous Congress government, not even a single watt of electricity was produced.

Our government is also working with commitment on the resolution of providing adequate electricity to the farmers during the day by the year 2027. Our government will give four lakh government jobs to the youth in five years, out of which we are giving one lakh jobs in the first year itself. About 33 thousand youth have also been appointed. In the recent cabinet meeting, about 90 thousand jobs have been approved. Also, for the first time, we have also released a recruitment calendar with the date of examination results.”
He said that the BJP government of the state has also fulfilled the promise of giving Rs 6 thousand of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi to the farmers as well as an additional Samman Nidhi of Rs 2 thousand. The MSP of wheat has been increased by Rs 125 per quintal to Rs 2,400 per quintal.
Sharma said, “By taking strict action against the paper leak mafia that shattered the dreams of the youth, we have put more than 200 accused behind bars. None of them is going to escape. He said that Shekhawati region is the land of farmers-soldiers-Bhamashahs. The farmers here are feeding the country by tearing the earth’s chest. At the same time, the soldier is protecting the country’s border.”
The Chief Minister stated that under Congress rule, the Mewat region was notorious for cybercrime, accounting for nearly 70% of the nation’s cases.
“However, since our government took office, we launched Operation Antivirus, effectively putting an end to cybercrime in the area and bringing many cybercriminals to justice. Today, those involved in cyber fraud in Mewat are deterred from their activities. We remain committed to combating any anti-national threats”, said Sharma.
