On Monday, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held a meeting of divisional-level officials at the Tripura Sundari Temple complex in Umaria, Banswara. He reviewed the implemented plans and programs in the division and provided necessary guidance. He also gave directions for effective monitoring of the Viksit Bharat Yatra.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said, “Good governance is our priority in the state. The state government is making crucial decisions in the direction of ensuring the progress of the state with everyone’s cooperation and trust. The role of every officer-employee is extremely important in reaching the government’s welfare schemes and decisions for eligible individuals through ground-level implementation. Therefore, maintain the trust of the public with complete dedication based on your extensive administrative experience.”
The Chief Minister instructed officers saying, “The progress of Banswara division and the responsibility for administrative management is on you. Your roles should be clearly visible at the ground level.” Sharma instructed all officers to regularly review departmental activities and promptly address public concerns with sensitivity. He said, “To always be available for public service. Work with complete coordination and a cooperative attitude, and there should be no negligence or laxity in any way.”
The Chief Minister said, “People should not have to come to district headquarters and the capital for grievances; regular public hearings should be ensured at the village panchayat level. Go to the poor, helpless, and distressed, and listen to their grievances. At the same time, reach out to problem areas and provide prompt solutions.”
He said that the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ initiated under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is proving to be a boon for the deprived, and not a single eligible person should be deprived of the schemes in the state.
Sharma instructed officers to take strict action against corrupt individuals, mining, and land mafias, saying, “Our government has taken a resolve for a corruption-free Rajasthan. The government is working on a zero-tolerance policy. We took special decisions to stop paper leaks, gangsters, and corruption as soon as the government was formed, and their impact is becoming evident.”
He said, “There are immense possibilities for development in the area. Action plans should be made to promote tourism and industrial activities.” Sharma also gave directions for the effective implementation of the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme.
Sharma reviewed the work related to providing compensation through roads and rail lines. He directed the collectors of Banswara and Dungarpur districts to expedite these works with priority.
He also discussed the point-wise review of facilities such as electricity, water, roads, and healthcare in the division. In the meeting, Regional Commissioner Neeraj K. Pawan presented progress reports on the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ and various schemes in the region.
Earlier, CM also paid his prayers at Tripura Sundari Temple. He prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the state after seeking blessings from the goddess. During this, the Chief Minister met with the members of the temple management committee and inquired about the arrangements on the premises.
