Chief Secretary Usha Sharma has issued directives to ensure the maximum benefit for beneficiaries deprived of public welfare schemes through the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. She emphasised the need for proper arrangements for health check-ups and drinking water facilities at the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camps.
In a meeting held at the Secretariat on Friday, the Chief Secretary, through video conferencing, discussed the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra with District Collectors and departmental officials. She stressed the importance of involving local public representatives in the yatra. During the meeting, the Government Secretary of Panchayati Raj, Ravi Jain, provided updates on the progress of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (Rural), highlighting that awareness in rural areas will enable people to maximize the benefits of the schemes. Currently, 170 IEC vans are operating, connecting over 14 lakh 57 thousand people through camps in 1615 gram panchayats across the state.
