Chautala family’s INLD revival efforts

Before the upcoming assembly elections in Haryana, the Chautala family is actively working to revive the fortunes of the Indian National Lok Dal Party (INLD).
Following the Parivartan Padyatra, INLD leader and MLA Abhay Singh Chautala is providing guidance on strengthening the party organization through district worker meetings. The INLD is making concerted efforts to expand its support base before the assembly elections. During the padyatra, Abhay Singh Chautala, alongside his wife Sunaina Chautala and son Arjun Chautala, actively engaged with the people.
During the Parivartan Padyatra, the INLD covered 81 assembly constituencies in just 11 days over six months. The Chautala family traversed a remarkable 4,000 kilometers and interacted with people in around 2,000 cities, villages, and towns. Although Abhay Singh Chautala concluded the journey in Ambala due to the upcoming Samman Diwas rally scheduled for September 25th in Kaithal, he has expressed his commitment to cover the remaining nine assembly constituencies.
Throughout the padyatra, Abhay Singh Chautala not only criticized the Congress but also voiced his concerns about the coalition government. While reaching out to voters, he made several significant promises, including job opportunities for unemployed youth and the removal of meters from outside people’s homes. Chautala has pledged that if the INLD comes to power, it will prioritize job creation for those in need.
It’s worth noting that Abhay Singh Chautala had previously served a 10-year sentence, but he now faces the prospect of an extended imprisonment of up to 100 years.
The INLD’s extensive padyatra served as a crucial outreach effort to connect with voters and address their concerns. As the assembly elections draw near, the party aims to gain momentum and rebuild its presence in Haryana’s political landscape.
