Chandigarh Congress, gearing up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, inaugurated its first office in Bapudham. State Congress President Harmohinder Singh Lucky, in a programme organized by the Bapudham Congress unit, officially opened the office by cutting the ribbon.
The event featured a langar serving mainly laddus, halwa, and tea. Lucky, addressing the enthusiastic Congress workers of Bapudham, expressed confidence that the public is eagerly awaiting the elections to remove the BJP from power.
He questioned how the BJP, which came to power through populist and false promises, would appeal for votes. Lucky asserted that the public now recognizes the BJP’s misleading tactics using religion and God. He emphasised that unemployed youth see their future in Congress, asserting that the country’s future is secure only with Congress.
Predicting a significant victory for Congress in Chandigarh, Lucky accused the BJP of burdening every citizen with debt.
