A plethora of challenges are awaiting the new Haryana BJP President Nayab Singh Saini. As soon as Saini takes charge of the BJP office in Rohtak, he will face the big challenge of restoring trust between the government and the organization.
At the same time, all the party workers from North Haryana to South Haryana will have to go through a big test to take it along. When the discussions about changes in the Union Cabinet started, Nayab Saini’s name was also floated for minister in the cabinet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His biggest supporter is Chief Minister Manohar Lal.
When Manohar Lal looked after organizational work in BJP (Haryana BJP), that time Nayab Saini was his computer operator. Winning the trust of the Chief Minister, Nayab Saini has easily covered the journey from computer operator to state president of the party. Now his challenges will begin in the party.
As the state president of BJP, Nayab Singh Saini’s first challenge is to make the party win in the elections of 28 urban bodies including three municipal corporations of Faridabad, Gurugram and Manesar in the state. Warding work has been completed in most of these urban bodies. Chief Minister Manohar Lal has also indicated that urban body elections will be held two days ago. In such a situation, Saini will have to pass the first test of organizational skills by helping the party win the urban body elections.
BJP is claiming to win all the 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state. Congress also has the same claim. At present, there are BJP MPs in all 10 seats. Many MPs of the party do not want to contest the Lok Sabha elections this time. His eyes are on contesting the assembly elections.
If the party does not make Nayab Saini contest the Lok Sabha elections, then there will be a new candidate for his seat. Tickets of some MPs will be changed. In such a situation, a huge challenge rests on Naib Saini to win all 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state and make him the Chief Minister and Prime Minister.
The BJP government has been formed twice in Haryana. Nayab Saini himself was a minister in the first government. He became an MP in the second term. Chief Minister Manohar Lal is hopeful of coming to power for the third time due to the work of his government and the wave of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
