The much-anticipated trailer for Himesh Reshammiya’s ‘Badass Ravi Kumar’ has finally been released. This retro-action musical pays a grand tribute to the golden era of Bollywood, featuring high-octane action, unforgettable characters, and punchy dialogues. The film is set to hit theatres on February 7.

Drawing inspiration from the masala magic of the 80s, ‘Badass Ravi Kumar’ continues the legacy of Himesh Reshammiya’s iconic character, Ravi Kumar, who was first introduced in the film ‘The Xpose.’
Directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, the film boasts a multi-starrer cast including Prabhu Deva, Kirti Kulhari, Sanjay Mishra, Saurabh Sachdeva, Prashant Narayan, Manish Wadhwa, and others.
The trailer is packed with high-octane action, mesmerizing songs, intense drama, and stylish sequences that perfectly capture the essence of retro Bollywood. The dialogues, written by Bunty Rathore, stand out as a major highlight. Rathore, who also penned the dialogue for ‘The Xpose,’ once again demonstrates his skill in crafting memorable lines, amplifying the 80s nostalgia while delivering fresh, punchy dialogue.
The film was originally slated to release on October 11, 2024, but was postponed for undisclosed reasons. Last year, Himesh shared details about the film and said, “Taking a leaf from the books of legends and my inspirations like Vijay Anand, Manmohan Desai and Subhash Ghai, Badass Ravi Kumar will be a complete package, shot on a grand scale with visuals, action and music that will be unprecedented. I want to give my fans a grand, musical, action-packed experience of a lifetime.”
