AP Dhillon and Diljit Dosanjh are currently on their respective multi-city tours across India. During a recent concert, Dhillon appeared to take a jab at Diljit, claiming that despite the singer promoting his The Brownprint India Tour, he had blocked him on Instagram. Dhillon expressed his frustration from the stage, suggesting that Diljit’s support for his tour was a marketing gimmick.
In response, Diljit took to Instagram Stories, where he shared screenshots and denied blocking Dhillon. He wrote, “I never blocked you. Mere pange sarkaaran naal ho sakde aa…kalaakaran naal ni” (My issues might be with the government, not with fellow artists).
Earlier, during one of his Dil-Luminati India Tour concerts, Diljit had shown support for both AP Dhillon and Karan Aujla, wishing them well for their upcoming tours. Diljit also spoke about the rise of independent music, acknowledging the challenges that come with it: “Yeh independent music ka time shuru hai. Musibate toh ayengi…Hum apna kam karte jayenge” (This is the time for independent music. Problems will arise, but we will keep working).
