A workshop was organised at the BJP headquarters to promote central schemes. It provided information to the BJP district president, state general secretary, and OBC Morcha district presidents about Prime Minister Vishwakarma Yojana. The state coordinator of the scheme, Prabhulal Saini, mentioned that under the Vishwakarma Yojana, 18 different trades have been identified to benefit traditional artisans and craftsmen. Economic assistance is also being provided to craftsmen and artisans under this scheme. He said, “A powerful government with a double engine has been formed in the state. The benefits of the central government’s schemes were not reaching the people in Rajasthan. These schemes will now be accelerated at the state level. These schemes will be implemented again. A plan is being prepared on how the common people will benefit from these schemes.”
It is worth noting that until the Lok Sabha elections, the state government will focus on PM Modi’s schemes. Monitoring of these schemes will also be done at the government and organisational levels. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has also issued directions to officials in this regard. CM Sharma addressed officials saying, “Rajasthan should emerge as a leading state in the developed India resolve journey. This should be our priority. In fact, as part of the developed India resolve journey, camps are being set up at various places to connect the people with the central government’s schemes. Registration is being done on the spot to link the common people with the central schemes.”
