The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its list of candidates for the upcoming assembly bypolls in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, scheduled for November 23. With this announcement, the BJP has declared its candidates for all seven assembly seats going to by-elections in Rajasthan.

In Rajasthan, the party’s list includes Jagmohan Meena from Dausa, Rajendra Bhambhu from Jhunjhunu, Sukhwant Singh from Ramgarh, Rajendra Gurjar from Deoli-Ujiara, Revant Ram Danga from Khinvsar, and Shanta Devi Meena from Salumbar. The bypolls are expected to be a crucial test for the BJP as it seeks to strengthen its foothold ahead of the 2024 general elections.

The by-elections come as part of regular electoral exercises following vacancies in these seats. Both states, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, are key battlegrounds for the BJP, and the party’s candidate selection reflects its strategy to consolidate support in these regions.
