According to reports, on the night of November 25, the day of the Assembly General Elections 2023, BJP activist Kantilal was killed by stoning.

Fear of enmity
The incident is being ascribed to hostility arising from the Assembly General Elections 2023. This occurrence took place in Som village within the jurisdiction of the Falsia police station. Following the incident, representatives from the BJP were also present at the site.

The dead body was lying on the spot for 12 hours
Police, including the Deputy Superintendent of Jhadol, have been stationed at the location from four police stations. The family members are urging the apprehension of the perpetrator in the murder case. It is worth noting that the dead body remained at the scene for 12 hours, and the police are examining the case comprehensively. The voting for the State Assembly elections was completed on Saturday and the results will be announced on December 3. The Congress candidate from Jhadol is Hiralal Darangi, and the BJP candidate is Babulal Kharadi.
