According to excerpts, Biden did not hold back his frustrations, reportedly referring to Netanyahu as a “f***ing liar” and a “son of a b***h,” and labeling close aides of the Israeli leader as “liars.”
Biden allegedly stated, “18 of the 19 people who work for Netanyahu are liars,” highlighting the total lack of trust between the two leaders. However, Woodward notes that despite their tensions, the US maintains its alliance with Israel, with Biden committed to a pro-Israel policy.
In related developments, Israeli forces resumed airstrikes in southern Beirut, targeting a Hezbollah underground weapons storage facility in Dahiyeh. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that their fighter jets conducted the operation based on intelligence reports.
