In an anti-narcotics operation, the Bijaynagar police station in Bhilwara district, Rajasthan, has seized a substantial quantity of illegal substances. The police arrested a youth in possession of an illegal doda post, confiscating 301.300 kilograms of the contraband. The estimated value of the seized narcotics is approximately 15 lakh rupees. Alongside the narcotics, law enforcement also impounded a Scorpio car and a tractor-trolley belonging to the accused. The Bijaynagar police station revealed that the operation was part of an ongoing campaign directed by Bhilwara SP to combat the trafficking of illegal narcotics in the district. Acting on the received information, a dedicated police team conducted an operation following an accident involving a Scorpio car near Sutikheda Mod village. The team found the Scorpio suspicious and, upon further investigation, learned about an individual involved in transporting the Doda post using a tractor-trolley.
The police team intercepted the tractor driver, identified as Chothmal Gurjar, on the rough road leading from Sutikheda to Jaliya. Upon questioning, Chothmal Gurjar disclosed that individuals from the Scorpio, involved in an accident, instructed him to hide the sacks filled with doda posts to avoid police detection. Subsequently, the police arrested Chothmal Gurjar (42) of Sutikheda and seized 301.300 kilograms of doda post, along with the Scorpio car and tractor-trolley. Chothmal Gurjar is currently undergoing interrogation, providing law enforcement with information to identify and apprehend the main culprits involved in the illegal narcotics operation.
