Today, as per the instructions from Deptt of Financial Services, Govt of India, a mega cleanliness drive in the name of “Swachhata hi sewa” was organized by various banks in District Mohali in a well-organized manner.
Divulging the details Lead District Manager M K Bharadwaj said that Team SBI organized the event at Zirakpur by all its nearby branches at Jaipuria Green Society VIP Road Zirakpur, where a mega cleanliness drive in the society was launched. Residents were made aware of the importance of cleanliness in our daily lives. The event was graced by Mrs. Aruna Thakur DGM SBI Mohali, Sh Rohit Kakkar Regional Manager SBI Mohali, and Sh M K Bhardwaj LDM Mohali. All the branch heads of SBI Zirakpur branches and their staff members were also present at the occasion.
Similarly, Team PNB also organized the event at Lalru Chandigarh roadside with their branch heads and staff members. Team PNB Phase 9 Mohali also conducted the drive in an effective manner. Team PNB Kharar also held a cleanliness drive at the Kharar bus stand area. Team Bank of Baroda Mohali, also conducted the event in a very effective manner in the market side of Phase 9 Mohali. Its branch head Mr Hitesh and his staff members were also involved in the event.
Besides, Team RSETI PNB under the leadership of its director Sh Amandeep Singh also conducted the cleanliness drive at Vikas Bhawan Mohali and ensured that their nearby area was free of garbage.
M K Bhardwaj, Lead District Manager ( LDM ) Mohali added that the call was given by the Prime Minister. All the banks in our Mohali district conducted the drive with full enthusiasm and zeal.
