Amidst the ongoing high-profile Bangladesh MP’s murder case, Bangladesh detective department chief Harun-ur-Rashid has recently announced, that they have found the circumstantial evidence.
They will further inspect the sewage line, which is connected to the murder site duplex apartment.
“We inspected the sewage line which is connected with that duplex flat (place of occurrence of the murder) with the help of West Bengal CID… also took help from CID West Bengal to break the whole sewage line. We are already interrogating the accused butcher at the CID West Bengal headquarters.” said Harun-ur-Rashid to media.
In addition, he also announced, that they have got digital evidence and will record the statement of accused butcher.
Later, after the investigation, they matched the statement with Bangladeshi’s accused.
Earlier, Harun-ur-rashid came to Kolkata on sunday afternoon, with police team and said, that the killing of MP Anas is “cold-blooded” and “barbaric.”
The detective chief further announced, he came to India, to collaborate with both interpol and Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to enhance their efforts in catching prime suspect behind Bangladesh MP’s murder.
He also revealed, that the suspect Akhtaruzzaman, must likely escaped to United States via Dubai from Kathmandu.
What Happened So Far In This Case?
Meanwhile, chilling details were revealed during investigation findings, about the way the MP’s body was chopped and dismembered into pieces.
Further, according to West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department (CID), the butcher confessed to the peeling off skin, chopping it and minced to destroy its identity.
Later, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was established to probe the murder of a Bangladeshi MP.
Moreover, the Bangladesh’s Home Minister, Asaduzzaman Khan, announced earlier this week in a press conference in Dhaka that Anar, a three-time Awami League MP, was killed in Kolkata.
Then, speaking to reporters at his residence on Wednesday, the minister stated that Bangladesh Police so far, have arrested three individuals in connection with the incident.
