Okinawa Autotech, India’s premier electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has unveiled the OKHI-90, an electric scooter that is a fantastic combination of a motorcycle and a scooter. Unlike most scooters, this one has features like huge, comfortable seats and wide, grippy tyres, making it ideal for Indian families.
The 16” stylish aluminium alloy wheels increase the whole riding experience, especially on uneven roads, making it the ideal long-distance two-wheeler. The Okinawa brand logo inspired the LED headlight and the headlight has a sensitive light sensor for enhanced vision in low-light driving, night driving. For a quick and easy start-up, the OKHI-90 incorporates a knob-style automatic keyless start.
OKHI-90 includes features like In-built navigation, digitally informative speedometer, Bluetooth connectivity, mobile charging USB-port, luggage box light, geo-fencing, secure parking, and other characteristics along with battery information, speed alerts, calls and notification alerts, as well as insurance and maintenance reminders. To improve the entire ownership experience, the Okinawa Connect App comes with a feature called Find My Scooter that allows customers to locate their Okinawa electric scooter. This new application helps the user to immobilise their e-scooters, in case it is stolen. It also tracks and monitors driver performance, which is particularly useful for assuring safety. The OKHI-90 is available in several bright colours like Glossy Wine Red, Glossy Pearl White, Glossy Ash Grey, and Glossy Jewellery Blue.
The scooter has two riding modes and can accelerate from 0 to 90 kilometres per hour in less than ten seconds; the rider may easily reach speeds of up to 55-60 km/h in Eco mode, and up to 85-90 km/h in Sports mode. The OKHI-90 can travel up to 160 kilometres on a single charge due to the replaceable 72V 50 AH lithium-ion battery and fast charging.
The Price post FAME II & State Subsidy in Delhi and Maharastra is Rs 103866, in Gujarat Rs 101866, Rajasthan (Rs 114866) and Odisha (Rs 116866).
