Recognized as an engineering marvel amidst the Himalayas, this tunnel traverses beneath the Rohtang Pass within the eastern Pir Panjal range. Positioned on the Leh-Manali Highway within Himachal Pradesh, India, it holds the distinction of being the lengthiest single-tube highway tunnel situated at an altitude surpassing 10,000 feet, according to information provided on the Border Roads Organisation’s official website.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, the Himachal Pradesh Traffic, Tourist, and Railways Police shared a traffic advisory for Lahaul and Spiti districts.
