Before Singapore’s revelry, New Zealand erupted into celebrations, with the Auckland Sky Tower hosting a magnificent countdown. Thousands gathered to witness the stunning fireworks and exchange New Year wishes.
Prime Minister Christopher Luxon marked the occasion with his wife, Amanda Luxon, and shared a message on social media highlighting his achievements in reducing inflation.
“Inflation is at 2.2%—down from 7.2% in 2023. Glad we got that one sorted,” he posted on X.
Australia’s Iconic Sydney Fireworks
Australia followed with its legendary New Year celebrations at the Sydney Opera House. Thousands of citizens and tourists gathered to witness a breathtaking fireworks display.
Among the revelers was Indian visitor Kunal Verma, who expressed his excitement:
