Kuwait City [Kuwait]: The Kuwait Football Association (KFA) has officially announced its bid to host the prestigious 2031 AFC Asian Cup. The announcement comes as the Arabian Gulf Cup, currently being held in Kuwait, approaches its conclusion on January 4th.

KFA President Sheikh Ahmed Al-Yousef stated that the bid reflects Kuwait’s commitment to elevating its status in international football and enhancing its sports infrastructure.

Sheikh Ahmed confirmed that significant preparations are underway to ensure Kuwait is ready to host the tournament.
