Swiss artist Peter Wüthrich has created artworks using books, book covers and its pages. The exhibition ‘Les Mots Et Les Choses’ is on display at Kewenig Gallery in Berlin. Peter using multitude of book covers and individual pages has created seven works that include objects, sculptures, wall and room installations. Here literature is brought to ‘life’ through visual art. While Pharmacie littéraire (2021), is a wall cabinet that houses many glass vessels, vials, ampoules, all lined up to containing medicines in liquid or tablet form are labeled with authors and titles of world literature signifying to be a collection of healing essences, Essay, a compilation of nine book titles in coloured covers are fixed to each other at their sides. The exhibition will be on till July 8.
