Just days before Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s marriage, Nita Ambani visited Varanasi and enjoyed original delectables at a chaat shop. She was so impressed by the flavors that she remarked how her hubby, Mukesh Ambani, a known addict of chaats, would have loved them. Inspired by the succulent food, Nita decided to incorporate the taste of Varanasi into the marriage feast.
The caption of the videotape participated on Instagram reads,” Auspicious onsets An ode to Kashi.” It continued,” In line with our Author & speaker, Mrs. Nita Ambani’s vision of participating India’s rich artistic heritage with the world, the Ambani family will be paying homage to the holy megacity of Kashi or Varanasi at the important- awaited marriage fests of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. ”

In the videotape, Nita Ambani says, “ Namaskar. Jai Kashi Vishwanath. For me and my family, it has always been important to seek the blessing of our Devis and Devtas before any auspicious morning. A many weeks back, I went to Varanasi to supplicate for my children, Anant and Radhika before their marriage. I ’ve always been fascinated by Kashi the oldest living megacity, the megacity of lights, the cradle of Indian civilization. ”
She added, “ Throughout Anant and Radhika’s marriage fests, we’ve tried to pay a homage to India’s noble culture and heritage brought alive by thousands of crafters, karigars, needlewomen, and tradesmen. I’m pleased to proudly revise and present the chastity, positivity, and beauty of our heritage at the marriage. The grace of our gods and goddesses, the blessings of our preachers and saints, the piousness of our rituals and traditions. ”
The videotape also shows Nita Ambani chatting the chaatwala from Varanasi, saying, “ Namaste Rajesh ji. Achcha laga aapko yahan dekh kar. ” He replied, “ Bahut achcha laga. Aapne hamko yahan bulane ka wada kia tha, wo pura aapne kia. ”

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of billionaire businessman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani, is marrying Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant and businesswoman Shaila Merchant, today, July 12, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai.
The couple had their roka ceremony in Rajasthan in 2022 and their engagement in 2023 at Antilia, the Ambani family’s palatial bungalow. This year, they celebrated with two pre-wedding events—one in Jamnagar, Gujarat, and another aboard a cruise in Europe.
