A case of rape involving a minor has come to light in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The accused, under the pretext of meeting through Instagram, took the victim to a cafe and committed the crime after giving her a drugged juice. During this, the accused friend also recorded her explicit video. The accused youth continued to blackmail the victim with the explicit video. Disturbed, the victim filed a report against the accused youth at the Dargah police station. The police have registered a case under the POCSO Act and various sections and initiated an investigation.
The police stated that a minor girl (17) residing in the Dargah police station area filed the report. In her complaint, the minor stated that about four years ago, she was talking to a girl on Instagram. About two months later, she discovered that the person she was talking to with the girl’s ID was a boy. After chatting, they became friends, and both started falling in love with each other. When the girl told her family about the boy, they arranged their engagement in 2021.
The allegation is that in February 2021, the accused youth took her to a shop to make her drink juice. Later, he took her to a cafe and committed sexual assault. In 2022, the accused took her to a cafe again and raped her. During this, the accused youth also recorded her explicit video.
