Steps to Update Aadhaar Card Details for Free:
1. Visit the MyAadhaar Website:
Open your browser and go to [https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in](https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in).
2. Log In to the Portal:
Enter your Aadhaar number, and a One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to log in.
3. Check Your Details:
Review your current identity and address details to ensure they are up-to-date.
4. Select Documents to Update:
If you need to make changes to your address or identity, select the appropriate documents from the drop-down menu and upload them. The files should be less than 2MB in size, and accepted formats are JPEG, PNG, or PDF.
5. Submit and Track Your Update:
After uploading, submit your update request. You’ll receive a Service Request Number (SRN), which you can use to track the progress of your update.
Important Notes:
– This free update option is limited to Proof of Identity (PoI) and Proof of Address (PoA) changes.
– Updates related to biometric details, name changes, photograph, and mobile number must be done at a UIDAI-authorized center.
