The Pacific Palisades home once owned by the late actor Matthew Perry, was saved by the recent deadly wildfires in Los Angeles. Anita Verma-Lallian, who is the current owner, is a movie producer, and real estate developer. She confirmed the news on Instagram, thanking firefighters and the local community for their efforts.

“We deeply appreciate the brave firefighters, our wonderful neighbors, and the Palisades community for their strength and support during this heartbreaking time,” Anita wrote.

Community Support Saved the Palisades Home

Realtor Brooke Elliott Laurinkus sold the home to Anita. They played a key role in monitoring and protecting the property during the disaster. In her Instagram post, Anita thanked Laurinkus for her efforts and mentioned that she is helping others find temporary housing during this crisis.

Anita also urged her followers to donate to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, saying, “Our thoughts remain with everyone affected by this tragedy, and we hope to come together to heal, protect, and rebuild.”

A Tribute to Legacy of Matthew Perry

Anita Verma-Lallian purchased the property a year after Matthew Perry’s untimely death in an off-market deal. She announced the acquisition on October 31, 2024, sharing her plans to use the house as a vacation home while honoring the legacy of its former owner.

“We chose to honor the positive aspects of the previous owner’s life—his immense talent and the joy he brought to so many people,” Anita shared. “Our decision to purchase the home was based on our love for it, not the owner’s history.”
