Yo Yo Honey Singh has made it clear that his long running feud with fellow rapper Badshah is far from resolved. Recently, the rapper publicly supported an Instagram Reel by a fan, Ridey Behl, that criticized Badshah’s singing capabilities and judging prowess on Indian Idol.
In the Reel, Ridey claimed that Honey Singh himself liked and endorsed his post, which created an overflow of reactions from fans from both artists. Ridey, first apologizing to the fans of Badshah for his comments, doubled back by saying, “Badshah doesn’t deserve to be a singer, let alone an Indian Idol judge.” He humorously added anecdotes to underscore his point while addressing the backlash he received.
Honey Singh not only liked the Reel but also commented, “Yo Yo Army is with you li’ll bro! Don’t worry,” signaling his strong support for Ridey. The comment was pinned on Ridey’s post, further intensifying the online discussion among fans.

Honey Singh shed light on his decade-long issues with Badshah in an interview. While Badshah has repeatedly taunted him, referring to his illness, he remained silent for years. In 2024, though, Honey Singh was motivated by his fans to bring it to the public. Honey accused Badshah of inconsistency. He said, “He apologized and admitted his mistake but flips his stance frequently. I don’t hold people like that in any regard.”
His life and career are currently the subject of the Netflix documentary Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous, which offers viewers an inside look at his path. Despite the current issue, Badshah remains in the spotlight as he judges Indian Idol 15 alongside Vishal Dadlani and Shreya Ghoshal.
