A victory resolution rally was organised in Karnal-Gharaunda. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived as the chief guest at this victory resolution rally. Welcoming him were Karnal Lok Sabha candidate and former Chief Minister Manohar Lal, along with Rajya Sabha MP Kartikey Sharma.
Addressing the gathering, they said that Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Manmohan Singh talked about ending poverty. But it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who lifted 250 million people out of poverty. “We have fulfilled the promise of building the Ram Temple. Lord Ram has come from a tent to a palace. Now, the era of Ram Raj will come to the country.”
Slamming Congress, they noted that from 2004 to 2009, India in the eleventh position in terms of the economy. PM Modi performed a miracle in the economy and brought it to a high position, they said.
BJP candidate from Karnal Lok Sabha constituency Manohar Lal said in the last 10 years the morale of the army has been increased by giving them a kind of recognition and respect in the field of defense and security of the country.
There is no such occasion as Holi or Diwali when we do not see our Prime Minister among our soldiers. The morale of the soldiers, which used to be during the Congress era, has been raised even higher by our government. The Central Government has worked to end Article 370, due to which Jammu and Kashmir has become an integral part of the country.
Rajya Sabha MP Kartikey Sharma said that the Modi government at the Centre has done a lot of the work, giving a new direction to India. “Now the time has come to decide on the upcoming May 25th which kind of government we want,” he said.
“On one hand, there is a personality like Narendra Modi who has demonstrated his entire report card in front of you. The opposition says that everyone will become Prime Minister once a year. You and the people of Haryana have to decide what kind of government you want,” he said.
Sharma also said Manohar Lal has achieved a lot in his tenure as chief minister of Haryana. He has run a government of clean and good image.
