Delhi police takes stock of security arrangements prior to Republic Day

The security arrangements in various areas of Shahdara District were assessed by Additional CP Sagar Singh Kalsi of Delhi Eastern Range on Saturday night in preparation for Republic Day on January 26. Senior police officers were also with him during his visit.

On January 26, when India celebrates its 75th Republic Day in the presence of Emmanuel Macron, 144 women BSF constables will march down Kartavya Path led by an Assistant Commandant rank woman officer and two subordinate officers. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), hang gliders, paragliders, paramotors, and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) were all forbidden from flying in the nation’s capital by the Delhi Police on Friday.
