Ram Lalla’s ‘Pran Pratistha’: The Grandeur of Ayodhya Dham is Increasing Every Moment

On Thursday, the idol of Ram Lalla was bought in the sanctum sanctorum with Nakchak Vedic chanting. The life consecration rituals have started with the residences. Before the Pran Pratishtha ceremony to be held on Tuesday, all other programs lasting 6 days had started on 16 January itself. Thursday was the third day of the rituals. The rituals performed on Thursday are important because the idol of Ram Lalla has been established.

After this, Tirtha Pujan, Jaladhivas and Gandhadivas rituals took place. Earlier on Wednesday, the idol of Ram Lalla was taken to the main gate of the sanctum sanctorum. While Anil Mishra, the host of the rituals, is observing Yama-Niyam fast in the Ram temple complex, PM Modi is continuously performing worship, chanting and penance after visiting religious places. Along with the government work, PM Modi is also doing Ram’s work with full devotion. PM Modi sleeps under blankets at night and spends his time drinking coconut water with very little food.

As the date of the main ritual of Pran Pratistha is approaching, the divinity and grandeur of Ayodhya Dham is also increasing.

Adhivas Begins
On Thursday, 17 specific pujas like Ganesh Puja, Varun Puja, Matrika Puja, Ambika Puja, Brahmin Varan and Vastu Puja were performed before the vigrah. On 19th January, there will be Aushadhivas, Kesaradhivas, Ghritadhivas and in the evening there will be pilgrimage worship, water journey, Jaladhivas and Gandhadhivas. On January 20, there will be Shakharadhivas, Fruitdhivas and Pushpadhivas in the evening. There will be Madhyadhivas in the morning of 21st January and Shayyadhivas in the evening.
Generally there are seven adhivas in the prana-pratistha ceremony and a minimum of three adhivas in practice. Seven residences are taking place in the consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla. There are 121 Acharyas who coordinate, support and guide all the processes. Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid is monitoring, coordinating and guiding all the processes and Laxmikant Dixit of Kashi is the chief Acharya. After the completion of the Pran Pratistha programme in the sanctum sanctorum, all the witnessing dignitaries will be given darshan of Ram Lalla.

Nagar Darshan
Due to the weight of the idol made by craftsman Yogiraj, the city darshan programme was changed and then in consultation with the religious authorities, the silver idol of Ram Lalla was taken for Nagar Darshan. After the formalities of Nagar Darshan were completed, the main idol (Vigrah) was taken to the main entrance of the sanctum sanctorum (Garbh Griha).

Mahant of Nirmohi Akhara Performed Puja
Prior to this on Wednesday, Mahant Dinendra Das of Nirmohi Akhara and priest Sunil Das performed puja in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple. After this the women took out the Kalash Yatra. After this, Mathura MP Hema Malini also gave a dance performance on Ramayana.

Treta Returns in Ayodhya
These days Ayodhya Dham is looking like Ayodhya city of Treta period. Hundreds of Vedic Brahmins are completing the formalities of Pran-Pratishtha, following the classical traditions.

‘Netra Bandhan’ during ‘Pran Pratistha’?
During the consecration of the idol of Lord Rama in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple, many adhivas like Jaladhivas, Gandhadhivas, Dhanya adhivas are performed. During this time, a bright light is also established in the idol. It is not within the power of a normal human being to bear the light of God’s eyes, hence before starting the ritual, honey is applied to the eyes and a cloth is tied.

Narendra Modi in Ayodhya after 28 years
Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile, but it took 28 years for Narendra Modi to return to Ayodhya. Before the Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of Ram temple on 5 August 2020, Narendra Modi had come to Ayodhya on 14 January 1992 on the day of Makar Sankranti. That day he had resolved that he would come to Ayodhya only when the Ram temple would be constructed. The fate of destiny was such that the foundation stone of Ram temple was laid PM by Narendra Modi.

Panch Tatva Darshan
PM Modi said that this is a wish for the well-being of the nation. The images of Suryavanshi Ram give the message of new light to the country. The picture of Saryu River included in the album gives the message of always being dynamic. PM Modi said that an attempt has been made to show the nature of the philosophy of five elements. He said that along with the Trust, the saints have also guided the Postal Department.

Influence of Bhagwan Ram on the Universe
Apart from Ram Temple, postage stamps have been issued on Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Jatayu, Kevatraj and Mata Shabari. In addition to the total of six stamps, the entire album also compiles stamps issued by more than 20 countries, including organizations such as the United States, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, Cambodia and the United Nations. Through this 48-page book, an attempt has been made to showcase the global image of Lord Ram and his influence on different sections of the society.

PM Modi is living like a Tapasvi
PM Modi, the chief host of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ritual, is performing rigorous penance. Along with daily government work, he is performing religious Yagya rituals, chanting mantras and fasting also. While PM Modi is visiting religious places, the SPG commandos protecting them are also seen dressed as Brahmcharis (The celibates). PM Modi’s commandos are also wearing white dhoti and angavastra only. PM Modi is taking one time meal and coconut water.
