The process of organizing the Haryana Congress is underway, with a scheduled meeting between state and central leaders set for the 14th of January next month. Participants in the meeting include Randeep Surjewala, Kumari Shailja, Kiran Chaudhary (SRK), and former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda. Currently, Haryana Congress leaders are focusing on election preparations in the absence of a formal organization.

A General House meeting of Congress was convened in Chandigarh today to discuss door-to-door campaign strategies. Party in-charge Deepak Babaria assigned duties to party leaders for the successful implementation of this campaign. Notably, senior leaders such as Kumari Sailja, Randeep Surjewala, and Kiran Chaudhary maintained their distance from this meeting.

The General House meeting included present and former MPs, MLAs, candidates who contested Lok Sabha and Assembly elections on the Congress ticket in 2019, delegates of the All India Congress Committee and State Congress Committee, as well as representatives from Mahila Congress, Seva Dal, Youth Congress, and NSUI. All senior leaders and officials were invited, and district-wise leaders for the door-to-door Congress programs were decided.

Haryana workers have made significant contributions to the Donate for Country campaign launched on the 138th Foundation Day of Congress. According to the list released by the Congress High Command, Haryana ranks second among the states in terms of donations, with Telangana leading. The total donations from Haryana to the Congress High Command amount to Rs 1 crore 38 lakh, surpassing contributions from Rajasthan (Rs 1 crore 21 lakh) and Uttar Pradesh (Rs 71 lakh).

A meeting of prominent party leaders is expected to take place in New Delhi on January 14 to finalize the names of district presidents of Congress in Haryana. Former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda, State President Chaudhary Udaybhan, Congress General Secretary Randeep Surjewala, Kumari Selja, Captain Ajay Yadav, and Kiran Chaudhary are likely to attend this meeting between Congress in-charge Deepak Babaria and Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal.
