Sateesh Nandal, who joined BJP after leaving INLD, has been given a significant responsibility in the BJP organization, taking Manish Grover’s place as the Deputy State President of BJP. His appointment in Rohtak, a crucial Jat-dominated area, is viewed as a means by the BJP to garner Jat votes. Following organizational changes, Sateesh Nandal has pledged to fulfill all responsibilities. BJP’s strategic move to include Sateesh Nandal, who joined from INLD in 2019, as the Deputy State President ahead of the Lok Sabha elections indicates a focus on winning over Jat voters.

Additionally, substantial responsibilities have been given to Sateesh Nandal in former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s stronghold. With BJP’s strengthening grip in various regions, they aim to fortify in Rohtak and dismantle Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s influence. Recently, hundreds of workers from Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s assembly constituency, including Gadhi Sampla Kiloi, joined BJP.

Sateesh Nandal remarked that BJP is a party of 36 communities and no one can claim dominance here. He expressed gratitude for the responsibilities entrusted to him after the organizational changes, thanking the party’s senior leaders. He assured that each worker will be respected and included in the party’s journey.

He noted Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s passive role in Haryana politics, contrasting it with the Congress party, which remains a family-oriented party at both the national and state levels. He pointed out that Bhupinder Singh Hooda has not allowed other workers to rise, while BJP provides opportunities to even the smallest workers.
