Haryana celebrates artistic excellence at state-level festival

The state-level art festival concluded at Jainendra Atma Auditorium, Sector 1, Panchkula, on Wednesday. District Education Officer Satpal Kaushik graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest, distributing prizes to the talented participants. Kaushik praised the students for their outstanding performances in various arts, highlighting the Education Department of Haryana’s commitment to the holistic development of students.

District Project Officer Kamlesh Chauhan expressed gratitude to students from different districts, emphasizing their crucial role in the success of the state-level program. The exemplary performances of students across various disciplines were acknowledged.
Assistant Project Officer Anu provided details of the winners in different categories. Notably, Pakhi of Hisar district secured first place in the solo classical dance category for girls, while Vansh of Panipat stood first in the boys’ solo classical dance competition. In Visual Arts, Vikas of Panipat and Gulnaz of Panipat secured first place in the boys’ and girls’ categories of Toys and Games, respectively. Rahat Praveen of Gurugram secured first place in Visual Art Three Dimensional for girls, and Jatin from Sonipat claimed the top spot in the Visual Art Three Dimensional boys’ competition.

The festival also recognized talent in solo acting, solo folk music, solo classical music, and solo folk dance, showcasing the diverse artistic abilities of students from various districts. The event was made successful with the collaboration and support of school principals, including Ritu Khosla, Ramesh Batra, Vijay Juneja, Program Consultant Bindu, Economics spokesperson Ramesh Kumar, Vocational teacher Mandeep Singh, and DPE Omprakash.

The State-Level Art Festival not only celebrated artistic achievements but also reinforced the commitment of the Education Department to foster creativity and talent among students in Haryana.
